Prison Public Memory Project and Davis Orton Gallery’s summer event series continues this Thursday with a panel led by Hudson’s SBK Social Justice Center. SBK is a community-based organization committed to overcoming the long-standing social and racial injustices that breed economic and social distress in Hudson. Their Community Justice Advocacy program supports youth and their families in navigating criminal justice systems, accessing services, engaging in processes of accountability and supporting the development of a positive sense of self.
This panel will focus on juvenile justice in the Hudson community. Eli Berkowitz, Director of Advocacy, will lead the panel. Panelists include Community Justice Advocates Catherine Taylor, Sylvia Macheski, and Pamela Badila.
This event is free and open to the public. An RSVP email to events@davisortongallery.com is appreciated.
